Dragan Ilic is a Structural Engineer with over 30 years of experience in project management, structural design and construction supervision. At the AECOM office in Richmond Hill, Dragan is responsible for the project management and structural design of transportation engineering projects, including preliminary and detail design for new bridges, inspection, evaluation and rehabilitation of the existing bridges, subway design, transit design, retaining walls, culverts, and other transportation engineering related structures. As Bridge Department Head, Dragan leads dedicated group of combined 50 engineers and technicians in AECOM Richmond Hill, Mississauga and Whitby Offices.Dragan’s experience in bridge structures includes a wide variety of highway, railway and light transit bridges consisting of post-tensioned concrete, precast concrete girder and steel girder structures designed to CHBDC, AASHTO and AREMA design standards. For the rehabilitation of structures, Dragan has carried out condition surveys, structural investigations and assessments, repair, rehabilitation design and project management of a wide variety of structures.Dragan is a Certified Project Manager, having met the stringent training, experience and practical examination requirements of the URS Project Manager Certification Program, which is recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
