Yuri earned her Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from Loma Linda University, where her research centered on women’s wellness and the impact of workplace well-being on health outcomes. She is also a Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Certified Office Ergonomic Evaluator (COEE).With a background spanning government, private industry, and community health, Yuri has devoted her career to advancing quality improvement in healthcare and promoting employee health and safety. She has developed, led, and evaluated workplace wellness, safety, and quality-assurance programs—championing the idea that healthy employees create healthier, safer environments for patients.Her passion for public health extends from improving organizational systems and workplace culture to empowering individuals with wellness tools, mindfulness practices, and sustainable self-care strategies.Yuri believes that wellness is a holistic, evolving journey—one shaped by mental, spiritual, physical, and environmental well-being—and that cultivating healthy lifestyles not only enhances personal wellness but elevates the quality of care delivered across healthcare settings.
