The role of our Sr. Director, National Mental Health and Well-Being Programs is to help calibrate our program design and resource our approach to implementation in a trauma informed way, with a goal of scaffolding growth and habilitation in folks impacted by the carceral system. Given incarcerated peoples are considered a highly vulnerable population, we recognize the responsibility we have to inform our program design in this way and the harm we become complicit in when we do not. This role leverages a background in clincial counseling to inform decisions within three main areas of focus: program design, staff learning and development and EIT wellness consultation & referral.
