ABOUT YAEL GOLDBERG
I am a Clinical Psychologist, Neuropsychologist, and Behaviour Analyst specializing in behaviour management for persons with dementia and caregiver support. Through Baycrest’s Virtual Behavioural Medicine (VBM) program, I provide consultation and behaviour management services to healthcare teams and families across Ontario. Drawing on my many years as Clinician Leader of Baycrest’s Behavioural Neurology Unit, I apply principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis to identify behaviours of concern and develop evidence-based, non-pharmacological intervention plans. I provide implementation support, education, and training to interdisciplinary teams and caregivers province-wide. I also serve as Director of Training for Baycrest’s Pre-doctoral Internship in Clinical Neuropsychology and am actively involved in supervision and training. In addition, I offer intervention services through private practice and engage in teaching and public speaking for diverse audiences.
