ABOUT VIJAY JANAGAMA

One of the key architects of India’s transition care space, Dr Vijay Janagama is a leading healthcare technologist and rehabilitation care specialist. A visionary with over 20 years of rich experience across industries and roles, he was one of the key brains in conceptualizing and establishing India’s first transition care, SuVitas Holistic Healthcare in 2015. Dr Vijay Janagama is a Health Promotion Specialist, Diabetologist and Certified Wellness Practitioner. Instrumental in developing the globally accredited protocols-based treatment methodology of SuVitas Transition Care Plan, Dr Vijay was in complete ownership of the care team as Founding Medical Director. He steers SuVitas’ thrust in research, innovation and development of novel patient-centric rehabilitation care models. Dr Vijay has presented seminal research work in post hospitalization care at several prestigious platforms including World Stroke Congress, World Congress of Neurology, and World Congress of Neuro Rehabilitation. As the Director, Health Promotion of Prevent NCD Foundation, he has played an integral role in creating awareness on prevention of Non Communicable Diseases across communities, corporate and schools as part of the HAPPI (Health Awareness Promotion – Project India). He is one of the founders of YAGNA, a Not for Profit Organisation started by group of doctors with focus on Health, Education and Leadership building.Dr. Vijay Janagama is currently, Head - Concept and Clinical Excellence at HCAH India, with key focus areas of Care Delivery, Quality & Accreditations, Capacilty building, Standardization & scaling, Innovations, Research & Publications and Leveraging Technology for Healthcare outcomes and experience.
