ABOUT VIGNESH N
I am Dr. Vignesh N, an Assistant Professor at Chettinad School of Occupational Therapy (CSOT), Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE), and a CORU Registered Occupational Therapist with a strong passion for mental health practice. Alongside my academic role, I work in private practice, supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress-related and other psychosocial challenges to regain independence and build meaningful daily routines. My approach is grounded in client-centered and recovery-focused care, where I focus on understanding each person’s unique story and helping them develop practical coping strategies and life skills that improve their overall well-being. As an educator, I enjoy shaping future occupational therapists by integrating evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and emerging approaches like virtual reality into learning. I am now seeking opportunities in Ireland, particularly within multidisciplinary mental health teams such as those in the Health Service Executive, where I can contribute both my clinical experience and academic perspective to support individuals on their recovery journey.
