   Planning, organizing and managing all the activities of Environmental & Horticultural management at Pellet Plant (4.5 X 2 MTPA), Slurry Pipeline Project, Tonto Airstrip, Kasia Mines, Residential colonies & Educational institutions etc. Review and coordinate with all the departments and environment management team to ensure compliance of environmental legislations. Ensuring implementation of best available technologies in terms of reducing dust emission, reduction of water consumption, maximum water recycling through innovative technologies for water recycling and reuse, solid waste utilization, minimizing waste water discharge with concept of zero effluent discharge. Responsible for various environmental monitoring as per requirement of SPCB,CPCB and MOEF and ensuring all the statuary submission of compliances timely. Evaluate, plan & execute the project schemes of Green belt development & Plantation/ Afforestation, environment preservation & biodiversity activities as per MOEF & SPCB. Initiate & coordinate for special studies on environmental issues (Environment Impact Assessment, Carrying Capacity or Source Apportionment Studies) and develop partnership with academic institution /experts. Ensuring timely environmental technical support to Plant in the areas of regulatory compliance, compliance reporting, testing, environment & sustainability data management and enforcement action response. Track and update the senior leadership with the environmental legislations and Govt. Policy decisions. Management and development of Greenery by selecting suitable plants and shrubs, plant nursery, indoor & outdoor plants. Responsible for manpower utilization, demonstration & training of the environment & horticulture team for landscape and environmental related development activities. Responsible for the departmental budgets, budget monitoring, strategic planning, labour & contract Management and MIS reports etc.
