About Uttam Kumar Pandit

I am a Structural Engineering researcher with a strong foundation in steel structures, specializing in modeling, stability analysis, seismic design, reliability-based safety assessment, and computational mechanics. My research explores the performance of corrugated steel plates and complex-profiled structural elements, using homogenization techniques to estimate their equivalent mechanical properties.Currently, I am engaged in advancing knowledge on the seismic and buckling behavior of thin-walled steel elements, combining theoretical, experimental, and data-driven modeling approaches.I am also the co-founder of Infradymaix Stiffness Monitoring Pvt. Ltd, a startup focused on structural health monitoring, smart diagnostics, and innovative design solutions for modern infrastructure systems. We aim to bridge the gap between research and practical application by delivering tools and insights that enhance safety, efficiency, and resilience in built environments.
