About Tushar Singh
I am currently working as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the Department of Psychology, Banaras Hindu University. I completed my D. Phil in Psychology from the University of Allahabad. Having more than fifteen years of teaching experience in premier institutes like the Centre for Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences, University of Allahabad, Amity University and now in B.H.U, I have also been Visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore and the Indian Institute of Technology BHU. Besides teaching I am involved in research in areas of gender and social minorities. I have published more than 60 research papers and articles in reputed National and International Journals and Books. I was selected as \"emerging psychologist\" by the International Union of Psychological Sciences in 2012 in Capetown, South Africa and has been given \"Early career researcher award\" by the International Council of Psychologists in the year 2018 at Montreal, Canada. Presently I am serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Applied Psychology since 2018 and am the treasure of the National Academy of Psychology, India since 2018. I am also serving on editorial committees of various journals including, Frontiers in Psychology, Frontiers in Sociology, Frontiers in Human Dynamics, Psychological Studies, Indian Journal of Social Science Researches, Psybernews etc and have been granted research projects from UGC, NCERT and UK- India Collaborative Research Project from DBT, India and MRC, U.K. Besides teaching and research, I am actively involved in training psychological/ soft skills to the students and professionals in relevant fields. I have been involved in teaching and training behavioral skills related to Understanding Self for effectiveness, Communication skills, Group Dynamics, Professional skills, Stress management, Memory enhancement, Group Discussion and Interviewing Skills etc.
