About Trish Berg

I am a university professor, motivator, speaker and positivity coach who loves teaching.because I love my students! I believe in the power of positivity and resiliency, and engage and connect with my students in on ground and online classes in unique and creative ways. I use design thinking techniques towards continuous improvement in my teaching, delivery, and course development. I specialize in interactive teaching methods, and am continually exploring new ways to integrate those techniques in the online learning environment. I teach at the doctoral, masters and undergraduate levels, online and in person. I teach courses in leadership, management, organizational behavior, marketing, design thinking, strategy, and best practices in teaching. I have over twenty-five years of university level teaching experience with nineteen years as an adjunct professor and eleven years as a full-time professor. I focus on student engagement, impactful teaching methods, and creative approaches to online learning. Prior to teaching college, my work experience was in real estate management, banking, writing, publishing and public speaking. I am also a published author of two books, co-author to four books, and a former nationally recognized speaker and newspaper columnist.
