ABOUT MICHAEL TRIMBERGER

As a National Principal Fellowship Finalist for the US Department of Education, a Career Pathmaker recipient, an Administrator and Young Professional of the Year, I have had many personal recognitions, but recognize that great individual honors only come by being part of great teams. As part of the South High School Team, we realized tremendous growth in many areas. We were proud to say that our school was scoring the highest percentage of proficient/advanced students while I had the privilege to work there. Our DPI School Report Card jumped from a 62.2 to a 70.8, moving South High from near the bottom to a top-four high school in the FRCC conference at the time. While part of the Sheridan Elementary team, we were able to realize similar growth in the number of proficient/advanced students on the (WKCE): Language 42%to76%(81% growth), Science 46%to78%(74% growth), Math 68%to74%(9% growth), Reading 64%to68%(6% growth), Social Studies 92%to96%(4% growth). As a member of the School District of Random Lake Team, we are now focused on three core principles: STRONG CLASSROOMS, STRONG SCHOOL CULTURE and STRONG CONNECTIONS TO COMMUNITY. We are generating Strong Classrooms by creating PLCs to produce a Guaranteed Viable Curriculum that addresses the academic needs of all our students. We are cultivation a positive school culture by implementing PBIS through “The Ram Way” and teaching students positive behaviors. Strong Community Connections are helping excite students about learning by engaging our community in ways to get students of all ages exciting about career and college readiness. Our focus on community service and Career Pathways will ultimately help every student leave the School District of Random Lake with a Distinct Advantage. Public schools need strong leadership. I feel that public education is at a pivotal time in history. I am proud to be part of the solution for a stronger public educational system.#RLAdvantage
