Committed to building close and value-added relationships with my clients, I counsel multinational, national and emerging companies on the legal challenges involved with cutting-edge technology and digital transformation. My focus includes the industry, healthcare, energy, e-commerce, media, financial services, automotive and telecommunications sectors. With my background of working in in-house legal departments of market leading companies for over two years, I enjoy digging deep into innovative business models in close cooperation with internal legal and business functions, enabling the go-to-market of ground-breaking technology products and services. Recent areas of my focus include data driven services, Internet of things, app stores, platforms, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and augmented and virtual reality. I often counsel on the implementation of the European General Data Protection Regulation and the potential impact of the European Digital Single Market Strategy on tech businesses. I advise on IT procurement, technology transactions, cloud computing, software development, outsourcing, customer agreements, licensing and other complex commercial contracts.Beyond Germany, I have a strong focus on cross-border matters, spanning, in particular, US, UK, central Europe, Middle East, Scandinavia and Asia. I frequently advise international clients on their market entrance in Europe.Prior to joining Noerr, I worked in the Berlin, London and Dallas offices of leading global law firms. I wrote my doctoral thesis on new media and studied at the University of London.
