I’m an experienced and strategic higher education leader, consultant, trainer, author, and speaker with a strong track record spanning academic, technical, and professional support domains. I work with universities, colleges, and cultural institutions to strengthen learning, teaching, and workforce development, particularly within the creative and technical disciplines.My authority is grounded in lived practice as a photographer and in over 25 years of leading technical learning in higher education. As a Principal Fellow of Advance HE (PFHEA) and researcher of technical pedagogies, I combine empathy, scholarship, and strategy to help institutions recognise, develop, and transform their teaching ecosystems.Through Tim Savage Consulting, I deliver research-led consultancy, professional development, and sector-facing provocations and keynotes that advance institutional strategy, elevate technical teaching, and enable organisational change.
