ABOUT THOMAS JANSEN

I am a partner in Heuking\'s Munich office and a member of the IP, Media & Technology Practice Group. I have over 25 years of experience as a technology transactions lawyer. I advise German and international corporate clients across diverse technology-driven industries (IT, Telecoms, Automotive, Space, Aerospace & Defense, Life Sciences) on all kinds of technology-related matters, with a focus on providing strategic and pragmatic guidance in the creation, acquisition, use and commercial exploitation of technology. I also counsel clients on the intellectual property aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and financings.Furthermore, I advise clients on privacy and data protection and cyber security related issues, inter alia advice on international data flows within groups of companies and binding corporate rules as well as advice on the development of compliance programs. I am a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and also author of numerous articles and contributions on technology and privacy related topics.
