ABOUT TESSA LYNN
I support organisations, practitioners and communities to gather meaningful insight that leads to better decisions, stronger relationships, and more just outcomes.I deliver a CPD-accredited Community Researcher Training that builds confidence in evidence gathering and analysis, knowing how to ask the right questions, and overall improve community engagement. Learners use the tools to make people-led decisions, design local surveys, understand lived experience, and bring clarity to complex community issues.Alongside this, I take on selected work and consultancy that aligns with my values, including:• academic and applied research• evaluations of community-focused projects• community engagement and insight gathering• capacity-building for organisations working in neighbourhoods, public health, food insecurity and housingMy work blends academic rigour with compassion, practical tools, and a belief that community insight is a form of power. When people understand how to gather and interpret evidence, their confidence grows and decisions become fairer. If you’re exploring ways to strengthen community insight, build capability, or support the groups you fund, I’d be happy to connect.
