Selected as Principal of the Year for 20••••15! We have a non-traditional program where students can earn a high school diploma at a faster pace than traditional schools. We also offer dual enrollment opportunities with Atlanta Technical College. Through our CTAE Programs, our students can earn national certifications. Recently, we had three students who earned the National Bookkeeping Certification. Our focus is preparing students for college and/or career readiness in a non-traditional setting.

ABOUT TERRY YOUNG
Educating youth for 30 years has been a humbling experience. As I approach the end of my career, I can honestly say that I feel extremely blessed to have touched so many lives. It\'s amazing that I still mentor ones that I taught in the 90s from GA and CA. What I have experienced teaching on both sides of the coast is that young people are pretty much the same from east to west. Earning my doctorate degree was the highlight until I was honored by being named Principal of the Year in 20••••15 in the fifth largest school district in GA. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would get this honor. There are so many great leaders in CCPS. Any of them could have won this award! However, this is evidence that our team continue to work hard to educate and mentor youth. The best part of my career is having former students tell me how much I have meant to them throughout their life! In addition, to see two of my former assistant principals promote to the principal position and to be named Principal of the Year, is Simply PRICELESS! In addition to my work in education, I have also had some success in the business field. I believe that one should always look to supplement their income. Life is too long not too. Today, network marketing is creating more millionaires than any other field. Being that I am a smart man, I joined a Network Marketing Company, Kynect. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Due to the team we are building, we reached the National Director level which is the highest level in the company. Energy deregulation is happening all across the country and around the world. We offer need based and a recession proof services which include electricity, natural gas, and wireless.
