ABOUT TECHN. IJAZ UL MOHSIN

I have earned a Ph.D. degree in technical chemistry from Vienna University of Technology with an excellent grade (1.0). During my doctoral studies at the Vienna University of Technology in cooperation with the Thermophysics Laboratory at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), I intensively worked in the fields of materials physics and chemistry,/material sciences. The main focus of my research was sintering technology in combination with thermophysical material characterization. In doing so, I acquired in-depth scientific and methodological knowledge in the use of thermoanalytical techniques. My research work as a research scientist (development of battery technologies) at IAM-AWP within the KIT Cluster of Excellence POLiS (Post Lithium Storage) is carried out with great enthusiasm in close scientific cooperation with various partners at KIT, HIU, and ZSW. Detailed investigations of battery component materials, measurements of thermophysical as well as electrochemical-thermodynamic data for the development of battery management systems (BMS) of e-mobility, and safety tests of batteries are my main research areas. I organize my research work in orientation to the current scientific developments worldwide, prioritize accordingly in a very efficient way and constantly monitor the progress of work. I have analytical thinking skills, and a creative approach, and am willing to learn and implement new things.
