About Montenegro

Dr. Montenegro is a polyglot & polymath who has extensive, boots-on-the ground experience in conflict zones & austere environments. He was embedded in Haiti during periods of extreme civil unrest & subsequently spent 4 years in hostile environments in Latin America before relocating to Africa.In Africa, his travels include the conflict-ridden Kivu Provinces in the Northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo, the DRC-Zambian border, the Ethio-Sudanese Border, the Ethio-Somali Border & Oromia Zone, & the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples\' Region (SNNPR) of Ethiopia; in addition to Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania & Northern Mozambique - throughout the restive & lawless Rovuma River Border-Region.In all of these locations Dr. Montenegro traversed the terrain solo & frequently entered remote areas of the bush where Westerners are rarely seen.Due to his extensive experience in foreign countries, he knows how to navigate non-Western systems with respect to networking, business, import, export, & the international sales of military equipment & surveillance technology. Dr. Montenegro has over ten years of experience networking with AU & EU diplomats, military, security & embassy personnel, as well as private military contractors.He has earned close to 500 credits, studied over fifteen languages, has a Ph.D. & two Master\'s degrees, specializes in Hostile Area Penetration, OSINT, Military & Intelligence Ops, SALWs, Sino-African studies, counter-terrorism & counter-intelligence. His Baccalaureate degree is in Middle Eastern studies, focusing on Sunni & Shi\'a terrorism.Many of Dr. Montenegro\'s research papers have been utilized as references by SOUTHCOM, the CIA, DEA & US Military Intelligence.
