With 19 years of academic experience, I am committed to shaping future-ready life-science professionals through teaching, research mentoring, and institutional leadership. My expertise spans Genetics, Applied Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Environmental Sciences, Biostatistics, and Research Methodology. I have actively engaged myself in continuous professional development with 22 UGC-approved Orientation, Refresher, FDP/PDP & ATAL Programmes, which have strengthened my teaching, research, and academic leadership skills.At VCIWU, I currently serve in academic and leadership roles including Assistant Professor, Head (I/c), Board of Studies member, Director – Minority Cell, IPR Cell Coordinator, and Placement Cell Member, contributing to curriculum design, policy development, and student success.Impact highlights: Supervised 50+ UG & PG dissertation projects Mentored several award-winning student researchers (oral & poster presentations) Published 8 research papers in UGC-listed & Scopus-indexed journals Delivered invited STEM career talks impacting 1,500+ students across Hyderabad Attended 60+ national and international seminars, conferences, webinars, and symposia where 30+ oral and poster presentations were delivered, individually and as a lead mentor for students Organized national and international academic events, science fairs, and conferences impacting participantsAs Co-Founder of SkillSTEM Academy LLP, I extend my academic mission beyond the classroom by supporting life-science graduates through career guidance, research writing, lab skill immersion, industry-aligned training, and placement readiness.I believe that purposeful mentorship transforms potential into impact.
