Taralkar is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Coordinator – Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at MIT Academy of Engineering (formerly Maharashtra Academy of Engineering), Alandi, Pune. His scholarly contributions include 17 publications in reputed international peer-reviewed journals, 2 book chapters, 32 papers in national and international conference proceedings, and 2 patents.Dr. Taralkar has organized multiple national and international conferences and has conducted numerous seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs on recent advancements in chemical engineering and engineering education. He also serves as a reviewer and referee for leading international journals, actively contributing to the global research ecosystem.His areas of specialization and professional interest include separation technologies, solid–liquid extraction, membrane processes, mathematical modeling, process engineering, business analytics in higher education, and NBA/NAAC accreditation systems.
