ABOUT SUSAN LYCETT DAVIS
Dr. Susan Lycett Davis is a skilled professional with over 30 years of business experience holding both administrative and instructional positions with multi-national firms. Having successfully worked in both the UK and the USA, she has demonstrated expertise and success in managing organizational growth, employee and student development, diversity awareness, workplace violence prevention, and conflict resolution initiatives. A Professor, Researcher and Consultant, Dr. Davis has a keen interest in human resources development, cultural competency and diversity issues and spends time assessing, developing and implementing initiatives that will benefit the welfare of employees. She has been instrumental in conceptualizing and developing several models that have been presented at conferences nationally. Dr. Davis has a doctoral degree with a specialization in Organizational Leadership and Conflict Resolution from Nova Southeastern University. For her dissertation she developed “the RITECT Model – A Workplace Violence Prevention Plan.” She holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management also from Nova Southeastern University; A Post-Graduate Certificate in Education from Greenwich University, and a BBA in Human Resources Management from Southbank University. In addition to her degrees, she is a trained State of Florida Certified Mediator, and serves on various organizational and community boards and committees. Specialties: Mediation, Conflict Resolution, Employee Effectiveness, Organizational Transformation Dr Davis (aka Dr Sue) is also a performing artist, community and cultural activist. She recently released her third publication “Living a HIP Life.The Story of a Mother as Told by a Daughter” which follows her books of poetry “I am Jamaica” and “Ode to Miss Lou…From the Soul of Dr Sue” – a Jamaica 50 Collectible Edition.
