ABOUT SUNIL
Dr. Sunil is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Scientific Computing at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. He earned his M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, in 1989, where he was honored with the prestigious Gold Medal. Dr. Sunil further advanced his academic journey by completing his M. Phil. in 1990 and his Ph.D. in 1994, both from H.P. University, Shimla.Since joining the institution in September 1994, he has dedicated over three decades to teaching and research at NIT Hamirpur (formerly REC Hamirpur), contributing significantly to the academic community. Dr. Sunil has mentored 16 Ph.D. research scholars and has an impressive portfolio of over 170 research publications in highly regarded international journals, establishing himself as a leading expert in his field.In addition to his remarkable academic and research achievements, Dr. Sunil has attained an h-index of 27 and an i10-index of 66 on Google Scholar, underscoring the significant impact of his work in the global scientific community. His academic career is a testament to his commitment to excellence in both education and research.
