Highly experienced Program Scientist with 15+ years of post-PhD expertise in Research & Development, Clinical Research, Molecular & Cellular Biology, Cardiovascular Research and Genomics & Genomic Analysis. I embarked on my academic journey with a post graduation in Biotechnology from Mahatma Gandhi University. This was just the beginning of my passion for biological sciences. During my academic pursuits, I had the privilege of joining as a CSIR-JRF in the Dept of Pathology at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum. This prestigious institution, under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, was the platform for my PhD in Biological Sciences. Presently, I am a Program Scientist at DBT-Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology. My work revolves around the fascinating field of mechanosensing and mechanotransductive pathways, particularly their activation in vascular endothelium in response to altered hemodynamic shear stress. This research is instrumental in understanding and addressing venous diseases such as cerebral arteriovenous malformations and varicose veins. My research is supported by funding from SERB, ICMR, NRF, and KSCSTE extramural grants. I\'m committed to pushing the boundaries of knowledge in the field of biological sciences and making a difference in the world of clinical research.
