I’m a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering with experience in both academia and industry. Currently working at WSP as an Engineer – Tailings, I focus on the design, modeling, and safety assessment of tailings dams and mine infrastructure.My expertise includes geotechnical investigations, FEM modeling using PLAXIS, and interpreting complex soil-structure interaction for safe and sustainable tailings management. I have published extensively on slope stability and AI-based geotechnical modeling, and I’m passionate about bridging theory and real-world applications in mining geotech.Actively exploring advanced tools and global best practices to grow as a domain expert in tailings and dam engineering.

Conduct geotechnical design and stability assessments of Tailings Storage Facilities (TSFs) using FLAC2D, PLAXIS, and SLOPE/W. Conduct seepage, liquefaction, and seismic hazard evaluations to assess dam safety and resilience. Review and interpret instrumentation data (VW piezometers, inclinometers) to support real-time risk management. Developed the Python-based Piping Toolbox for risk-based screening of internal erosion mechanisms. Prepare technical reports and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, sustainable mining infrastructure solutions.
