ABOUT SUBODH S SATHEESH

I hail from Kannanallur, a quiet village in Kerala where values run deep and aspirations are shaped by lived realities. My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, followed by a Master’s in Pharmaceutics. However, as I progressed, I felt a strong pull toward making a more direct impact on people’s lives and communities.That calling led me to shift my focus from lab-based research to Pharmacy Practice during my PhD a decision that shaped my purpose. My research centered around diabetic foot ulcers an often overlooked but critical complication of diabetes. I worked on training healthcare professionals in early diagnosis and care, and raising awareness among communities. This experience helped me see the power of applied research and how it can directly impact patient lives.Over the years, I’ve worked across various domains including health research, pharmaceutical management, and digital health, while staying rooted in academics and research. I continue to stay connected with diabetic foot care through digital health initiatives that aim to support patients in diagnosis and management. I enjoy mentoring students, guiding interdisciplinary projects, and translating findings into papers that contribute to knowledge and practice.I believe in research that speaks and teaching that inspires.
