Dr. Subhram Das holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Engineering from Jadavpur University. He earned his B.Tech degree in Information Technology from the University of Kalyani and an M.Tech degree in the same field from the University of Calcutta. For the past two decades, he has been an integral part of Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata, where he currently serves as the Principal in-Charge.His research interests span various topics, including Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and the application of Machine Learning in Biomedicine. A prolific author, Dr. Das has published more than 35 International Journals and Conferences, 2 Books, and 12 book chapters, contributing to reputed publishers such as Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, Springer, and He serves as a reviewer of various international journals viz. Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Computers in Biology and medicine, Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics, Briefings in Bioinformatics, PLOSOne, and Conferences. He is an active member of Chapter and life member of Computer Society of India. He currently serves as an Academic Editor, PLOSOne journal.In addition to his academic and research contributions, Dr. Das is currently supervising four PhD scholars and has received 6 Best Paper Awards. He has also played a pivotal role in organizing several high-impact conferences, workshops, AICTE-sponsored STTPs, ATAL-FDP, FDPs, and seminars.
