Until recently Dr Shyamroy has been the GM- Technology heading all the Resin, Emulsion, Advanced Polymers and Nanotechnology departments, with an additional responsibility of securing and managing Intellectual Property (IP) for the organisation at Asian Paints Ltd, Mumbai, from where he moved on to a Senior Level Leadership role in technology of Petrochemical business at Reliance Industries Ltd, Mumbai. His total experience spans over 22 years. Dr. Shyamroy has been a Chemist and a Polymer Scientist by training. He obtained his PhD degree from National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, and was post-doctoral fellow at Tulane University of New Orleans and University of Massachusetts at Amherst in the USA. He also earned a qualification in management (MDP) from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.Dr Shyamroy has published research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and has many granted patents and patent applications to his credit.
