About Stan Jasiurkowski

CH (LTC) Stanislaw Jasiurkowski Chaplain Jasiurkowski serves as the Garrison Chaplain at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. He completed seminary in Tarnow, Poland, and graduated from the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow with a Master’s Degree in Theology. He also received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, SC and a Master of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University, AZ. He received the Sacrament of Holy Orders in Tarnow, Poland on 2 June 1990, and he is a Polish National Catholic Church priest. Stan is also a Board Certified Chaplain. In 1998, he received an invitation to work as a priest in the Central Diocese of the Polish National Catholic Church in the United States. Chaplain Jasiurkowski served as the pastor at St. Valentine\'s Church, in Philadelphia, PA and at the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Latham, NY. He became a chaplain in the US Army Reserve in 2003. On 14 June 2004 he reported on active duty to Fort Stewart and was assigned to the 87th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion. He deployed with the 87th CSSB to OIF and OIF V. Stan also deployed to Afghanistan in 2019 with the 2d SFAB as the Command Chaplain. He served as the Chief of Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care at Irwin Army Community Hospital from 5 July 2010 to 8 July 2013. From 2013 to 2015, he served as the 16th Sustainment Brigade Chaplain in Baumholder, Germany, the 30th Medical Brigade Chaplain in Sembach from 2015 to 2016, the Plans and Operations Chaplain at HQ MEDCOM, San Antonio, TX from 2016 to 2018, and the Brigade Chaplain, 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade at Ft. Bragg, NC from 2018 to 2021. His military education includes: Chaplain Offices Basic Training (2004), Chaplain Captain Carrier Course (2009), Clinical Pastoral Education at Madigan Army Medical Center (four units, level II from 2009 to 2010), Brigade Chaplain Functional Area Course (2011), Combat Medical Ministry (2012), Command and General Staff College (2014), and Chaplaincy and Resource Management (2016). Chaplain Jasiurkowski is married to Bogumila Jasiurkowski and they have one son, Christopher who lives in North Carolina.
