I am the Head of the Department and Assistant Professor in Botany with a PhD in Pastoral Ethnobotany, exploring the bio-anthropological, ecological, ethnobotanical, and evolutionary dimensions of the Deccan Plateau. My work strongly aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (2020–2030), and I am committed to advancing climate resilience, conservation, and sustainable resource management.As a passionate teacher, I aim to shape students into responsible and informed global citizens. My academic interests span Botany, Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Nutrition, Genetics, Indigenous Cultures, Bioanthropology, and Sustainability Science.
