ABOUT SONU YADAV
I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), India. I have completed my Ph.D. from Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, IIT Roorkee, India. My PhD research work is focused on the “Development of novel ultra high-strength carbide-free bainitic steel (Hot & cold rolling route), which gives high strength and elongation. I have completed my Masters in materials engineering from VNIT, Nagpur. I worked friction stir welding in different Aluminium series in my master\'s project. I have always been at the forefront of all the sports activities, I have won various athletic awards at the institute level.I have good experience in handling equipment like Universal tensile testing machine (UTM), Hardness testing (Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell), Thermo-mechanical simulator (TMS), Metal Forming Laboratory, EDM, XRD, SEM-EDS, Optical Microscope, Electro polishing. I have hands-on experience with a variety of specialized software tools like X’Pert HighScore Plus, MAUD, J-stage software, Thermo-Calc, Origin lab, OIM software for EBSD analysis, GOM software, Mucg83 software, Neural network.
