About Somasree Santra
Dr. Somasree Santra is presently working as an Assistant Professor (English) in the Department of Language and Literature at Adamas University, Kolkata. She is a seasoned academician with nearly 10 years of University teaching experience. Besides her educational degrees, she has completed academic courses from reputed institutions like Jadavpur University, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam, Delhi University, Ranchi University. Her research works have been published extensively in several international and national journals (UGC CARE, Scopus, Web of Science). She has been invited to present her research papers at international and national conferences organized by reputed institutions. Apart from chapters contributed by her in edited volumes published by International Publishers like Bloomsbury and Routledge, she has authored a book entitled Theoretical Domains and Au Courant Trends in English Literature published from Germany acclaimed internationally. She has been invited as a Resource Speaker at several Universities (nationally and internationally) which includes University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Shinas, Oman during the International Faculty Exchange Meet as well as Quirino State University, Diffun, Quirino, Philippines. She has also been invited as a Resource person as part of the SPARC project on Academic Social Responsibility and the Humanities in India undertaken by the Centre for Translation of Indian Literatures (CENTIL), Jadavpur University and India Dialogue, University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK. Moreover, she has been awarded the Best Paper Presenter and has received the Certificate of Excellence for Best Paper Presenter at several International Conferences.
