As a Quality Assurance Manager, I am responsible for developing, enhancing, and monitoring statewide Immunization Quality Improvement for Providers (IQIP) projects. I oversee statewide Vaccines for Children (VFC) compliance site visits, ensuring proper storage, handling, administration, and documentation of publicly funded vaccines at the provider level. I ensure adherence to grant requirements during compliance and IQIP visits, and conduct educational sessions for providers based on VFC Operations Guidelines. I deliver presentations and engage in public speaking with providers, Local Health Department staff, and other immunization stakeholders to foster collaboration. Additionally, I direct and monitor the daily activities and training of VFC staff, enhancing program effectiveness. I provide clinical immunization advice to program staff, enrolled providers, school nurses, and the public, while supervising a team of registered nurses to maintain accuracy and consistency during compliance visits and immunization assessments.
