Dr. Shimelis Setegn is a highly accomplished professional with a strong background in ecohydrology and Water Resources Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Land and water Resources Engineering, as well as an MS and BS in Agricultural Engineering. Dr. Setegn\'s expertise extends to geospatial modeling and water resources, and he has made significant contributions during his tenure as an Assistant Professor at Florida International University. In his current role as a Lead Scientist at the Applied Science Bureau of the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), he continues to drive innovation in environmental research.
