With more than two decades of experience across federal service, university leadership, and private practice ownership, I bring strategic oversight grounded in clinical excellence and ethical leadership.I have served as Department Chair, Director of Clinical Training, Associate Professor, and Lecturer within CACREP-accredited programs, leading faculty development, accreditation readiness, curriculum innovation, enrollment strategy, and clinical training infrastructure. My leadership centers on building high-performing teams, strengthening program quality, and aligning academic and clinical systems with professional standards.Earlier in my career, I worked within the U.S. Department of Justice and the D.C. Office of the Attorney General, supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and collaborating across legal, law enforcement, and social service systems. These roles shaped my ability to lead in complex, high-stakes environments with clarity, compassion, and accountability.As Founder and Executive Director of SMR Counseling Services, LLC, I oversee strategic growth, compliance, supervision models, financial operations, and program development.
