ABOUT SHAKTI VASHISTH
Shakti Vashisth, born on August 9, is a committed scholar with a B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University in Lucknow and an M.Tech. in Power Systems & Drives from J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA (formerly YMCAUST). Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, her research focuses on the EV Charging Planning Models: Some investigations. It emphasizes the Planning and operation of fast charging stations with optimal integration of DERs; the pricing strategies are investigated with and without optimal integration of DERs on various grounds, such as the satisfaction level of EV users, the profit margin of the FCS owners, and peak demand on the grid and EV Cess policy is introduced to relieve the burden on the power grid against the growing heavy demand for EV charging. The methodology involves EV charging demand models in residential and commercial areas, EV Cess policy, and optimal centralized energy storage system sizing and scheduling at local grids. I am proficient in modeling different mathematical models for distributed energy resources, energy storage systems, electric vehicles, and consumer behavior. I have a keen interest in power system planning & operation and optimization. Besides, I am more interested in the applications of economics and the electricity market in power engineering applications. I am apt for artificial/ swarm-based, mathematical, and classical optimization methods. I have hands-on experience in programming with MATLAB. I have 5 years of teaching experience as an assistant professor and 7 years as a reacher scholar (M. Tech + Ph. D).Publication Details:Google Scholar: & & hl=enTo Collaborate Contact-Email IDs:2••••••••@[email protected].
