ABOUT SENTHIL KUMAR RAVICHANDER

I am an expereinced and well trained surgical oncologist from the world renowned Tata Memorial cancer research centre, Mumbai. With my vast and diverse professional experience of treating not only patients from India but across the globe from over 50 countries and counting over surgeries, I can ensure the best patient centered experience. At the helm of MIOT International\'s Surgical Oncology division, my focus has been on leading our team to excel in advanced cancer treatments. Our collective efforts have established a robust oncology practice that is recognized for its comprehensive cancer care. I am spearheading a team of tumor board specialists from all oncology related specialists like medical, radiation oncologist, nuclear medicine, pathologists, anaesthetist, Plastic and reconstructive surgeons,pshyco oncologists, physiotherapist and onco nurses ensuring global standards for our patients. The introduction of state-of-the-art Da Vinci Xi systems and stryker 1688 advanced imaging systems with 4 K and fluorescence, under my guidance has transformed our surgical capabilities, enabling us to undertake complex resections yet keeping it minimally invasive. My proficiency in robotic and laparoscopic techniques, particularly for gynecological, gastrointestinal and thoracic malignancies, has been a cornerstone of our department\'s offerings. My passionate commitment to breast cancer, the most common cancers among women, helped to make huge strides in the realms of breast conservation surgeries, oncoplastic surgeries, sentinel node biopsies and whole breast reconstruction. My department is among the handful centres across the globe to carry out head and neck surgeries lile thyroidectomies, neck dissections, parotidectomies robotically. This commitment to innovation and patient-focused care has allowed us to serve a diverse international patient base with cutting-edge treatments like HIPEC and robotic surgeries, reaffirming our status as a leading oncology center.
