About Anatoli Borissov
Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in Thermophysics and Gasdynamics. Professor in Interior Ballistics. Engineer. Current business: Liquid rocket engine design and development: During 2016-22 work years at Firefly Aerospace new engines Lightening and Reaver had been designed with the Tap-off cycle for Alpha rocket, successfully reached orbit on a flight (October 1, 2022). Based on the Analytical methods of mathematical physics and CFD simulations of the flow and combustion a new thruster with two combustion zones of low and high temperatures in one chamber had been developed. In results the Tap-off engine’s cycle design had been developed and successfully implemented into the new engines. Six patents had been filled on a new liquid rocket engines design. New rocket engine Borissov-Markusic cycle had been invented allowing most efficient combination of rocket engine with RAM/SCRAM. Five patents has been Granted: Three patents on unique tap-off power source for driving turbo-pumps; Cross impinged propellant injection; And Liquid rocket engine new cooling channels. Another current business affiliated with the Thermophysics Technologies Ink, also includes: Development of a new compact Fusion reactor for energy and thrust production for rocket engines. Research, development, design of fusion rocket thrusters based on new discovered advanced plasma’s flow patterns. Development of the simplest and most efficient full stage combustion rocket engines. Development of the Tap-off engines with improved efficiency. Testing of the combustors for rocket and turbine engines; and combustors for flue gas/steam generators for heavy oil recovery. Development of the dynamic model of Galaxies. Author of Discovery \"Rarefaction shock waves near thermodynamical critical point\". Author of numerous (about 70) papers in Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Annual Review of Fluid Mechanics, Journal of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Physics of Fluids, International Journal of Energy for a Clean Environment. Author and Editor of book:\"A. Borissov. Dynamic structure of detonation in gaseous and dispersed media. Kluwer Academic Publishers, 1991, p.311. The Netherlands.\" Author of 11 US patents on combustion, rocket engines, drill bits, heat rejection and heat to energy conversion systems from hot oil.
