Design is the architecture of memory and the blueprint of tomorrow. Every space tells a story. Mine began over two decades ago with a belief in design as a force for connection, identity, and transformation. In 24+ years, I’ve delivered residential, commercial, and experiential projects—each a canvas of sustainability, emotional resonance, and timeless elegance. I carry this legacy into my role as Project Head at Big Boy Toyz Realty, the iconic expansion of India’s luxury automotive brand into real estate. With an all‑women leadership team, we are redefining luxury living through innovation, inclusivity, and visionary design. As Founder Principal Designer at Urban Interiors, I have built a practice that blends ecological sensitivity with aesthetic excellence, ensuring every project reflects cultural relevance and human‑centric design. Alongside, my journey as a seasoned entrepreneur and educationist includes serving as Head of Department – Interior Design and Assistant Professor at a leading University of India, mentoring future designers and advancing research in AI, biophilic design, and systems thinking. Since 2007, I have also contributed as visiting faculty across premier institutions, shaping academic discourse and empowering students to design boldly. The written word has been another medium of storytelling. As an International Published Author, I have authored 15+ books including Soul Awakening, Design Essentials, AI – Shaping Global Architecture, The Power of Design Thinking, and Designing for Zero: A Guide to Net Zero Emissions in Interior Spaces. My academic journey has been honored with an Honorary PhD by the University of Swahili, USA, recognizing contributions to design, sustainability, and education at a global level. This path has also been celebrated with the Ashoka Award 2025, Women Face of the Year 2025, a Padma Award Nomination (2022), and the Women Prestige Award (London Borough of Southwark, 2023). As a 3× TEDx Speaker and world record holder, I continue to share insights that inspire transformation across academia, industry, and policy.
