Dr Appiah, an award winning British Ghanaian educator and scientist, is renowned for her impactful leadership and dedication to fostering inclusive spaces that drive innovation and progress. She currently oversees doctoral research at Middlesex University and serves as a Strategic Advisor for Health Shared Ghana and Uganda. Additionally, she is the Director of People Development for the Ghana Scholarly Society Global.With over 18 years of experience in academia, she has developed a robust combination of high-calibre scientific research and leadership expertise. Most recently at Middlesex University, she held several simultaneous roles, including Associate Professor of Biochemistry, Faculty Learning and Quality Lead (Student Experience), University Board of Governors member, and Co-Director of a Cancer Centre.
