ABOUT SANDEEP V. GUJJAR
Namaste, I am Sandeep Gujjar, a dedicated academic, industrial and researcher with a passion for civil and structural engineering. I hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.), a Master\'s in Structural Engineering (M.Tech), and have been awarded Ph.D from VTU, Karnataka, India. With over 11 years of teaching experience, 4 years as a research scholar, and 1 year of industry experience, I am currently a research scholar at KLEIT, Hubballi, Karnataka. I have a strong research background, having published 35 journal articles, authored 4 books, and filed 4 patents (two awarded from government of India). Additionally, I have established collaborations with the construction industry, with 8 MOUs signed with leading construction companies for technical exchange and innovation. I am a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) since 2012. I was approved as a Lecturer and later as an Assistant Professor by the University of Mumbai in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Approved Sr. Faculty by University of Wolverhampton, UK (2018). I became a Senior Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) in 2018. In 2020, I joined the International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS). I am also an Associate Member of the Institution of Valuer\'s as of 2024. Additionally, I am a registered structural engineer with the City Corporation, Shivamogga, Karnataka, since 2024. I am passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry. I continuously strive to contribute to the growth of the engineering field through teaching, industry and research.
