I am involved in Molcular biology research for past 20+ years, My Post graduate research centred in Benthic marine Psuedomonas Sp, I completed the same from National Institute of oceanography, Goa. After Postgraduation I worked on a Banglore based Environmental biotechnology Company as Assit. Environmental Biotechnologist. On 2008 I joined Centre of Excellence on Biotechnoogy, Anand Agricultural University for pursuing my Ph.D. in Biotechnology in Genetic transformation. I developed Transgenic Zero and T1 lines of a Gujarat Rice variety which could stand drought conditions. After my PhD I worked in the capacity of SRF, at Dept of Agricultural Biotechnology, AAU in project Whole genome sequencing of Isabgol. From 2013 I joined BioGene Laboratory, GSBTM in capacity of Research Associate in Gujarat Genomics Initiative project & From 2016 worked as Scientist B, GGI, GSBTM and was transfered to (GBRC) Gujarat Biotechnology Research centre on 2017. I was involved in various research activities of Lab and State Priorities like DNA barcoding, NGS, Metagenome, Whole Genome and Transcriptome projects. I was instrumental in developing Agri diagnostic services like Real time Quantification of Bt cotton accesions of Gujarat, GM detection, RT PCR based applications, Fast detection assay development in plant and animal diagnostics projects. I was also involved in Scientific administration, Selection & HR development-traning of Laboraotry staff, purchase - tendering, Civil construction & refurbishing work of Microbiology, Plant tissue culture, Molecular biology, Plant taxonomy Laboratories in different capacities. On November, 2017 I joined Xcelris Labs, in the capacity of Manager Commercial. The work profile includes Purchase planning, priority and analysis, Cost calculation of services, Accreditation documentation for ISO, NABL, Store management, Forward linkages - New intiatives and supervise commercial operations & genomics services. I am currently with Accumax Neuation and cater to product applicational managerial role being central nerve to technical, production, marketing and sales services catering to R&D, Problem solving, New product design & execution initiatives
