ABOUT RYAN JUDGE
I lead the Resilience, Security & Risk (RS & R) practice for Arup in the North. Areas of expertise- General security advisory, security basis of design, threat and risk, security strategies, protective design in the built environment- Blast analysis, design and engineering- Hostile Hostile Mitigation (HVM)- Design for physical security generally- Structural robustness and resilience to disproportionate collapse using non-linear static or dynamic analysis- Structural mechanics, dynamics and high-fidelity physics based modelling of theoretical representations of physical reality- Civil and structural design generally- Research and development in industry and academia related to all things resilience, security and risk. I work across all sectors and have extensive experience in rail, sport, commercial, residential, education, healthcare, government and military projects.
