I’m Dr. Ruchika Sood—an orofacial pain specialist dedicated to treating the kinds of pain that are often misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or dismissed. My clinical focus lies in TMJ disorders, migraines, facial pain, and headache syndromes, with a special interest in how these conditions intersect with women’s health, through PCOS, menopause, breastfeeding, hysterectomy, and beyond. I work at the intersection of science and empathy, ensuring that patients—especially women—are heard, believed, and treated with dignity. Too often, women’s pain is minimized. I’m here to change that. Whether it’s helping a patient who’s been told “it’s all in your head,” educating peers about the complex biopsychosocial model of pain, or leading awareness campaigns, my mission is simple: to elevate pain care with credibility, compassion, and clinical excellence.
