I am a scholar, educator, author, pastor, parent, and community activist who holds leadership positions in several academic as well as not for profit organizations. I find strength in the personal mission to develop people – students as well as those who educate them - to achieve their utmost potential. I remain unyielding in my optimism in the power of education to transform; yet, it is an optimism that is practically accomplished in my efforts to improve all levels of education and the structures and organizations that support them.
