Lead Budget Analyst for program ($71m) and salary and expense (S&E)($73m) appropriations for the Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity. Provide strategic planning, financial insight, coordination, and evaluation of obligations and disbursements for current fiscal year. Execute and justify budget systems activity; research and identify causes of prior submission to OMB and Congressional Budget oversight and review process. Work with CFO Financial Data and Procurement System to get request for grant and contract information. Coordinate and prepare regional and headquarters office spending plans. Monitoring the approved spending plans to ensure that programs and S&E accounts are spent according to Appropriation Laws, federal regulations and program policies and procedures. Monthly activity reviews of open obligations for S&E, reconciliation of bank statement with expenditures, reconciliation of budget object class 2503, 2504 & 2507. Quarterly activities performed, report to Congress on programs funds obligations and expenditures. Annual activities performed, the Lead for open obligations review for administration and programs funds. Coordinated with Headquarters and the ten regional directors and staff for the initial submission to CFO Funds Control Assurance Division, prepared and update funds control plans programs Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP) and Fair Housing Assistance Program (FHAP). Reviewed and updated funds control plan for FHIP, FHAP, Limited English Proficiency Initiative (LEPI) and S&E. Update the annual Federal Activities Inventory Reform (FAIR), A-76 review of commercial activities. Update Federal Domestic Assistance Program Catalog. In addition, I have assessed policy, program and project feasibility, formulated short-and long-term goals and objectives; prioritized work activities; determined solutions for program related problems; set standards; and have taken corrective action to ensure an effective, efficient, and productive organiz
