ABOUT REVANTH THALLURI
As a passionate entomologist, my academic and research journey has been driven by a deep commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture and understanding insect biodiversity. With a strong foundation in insect taxonomy, integrated pest management and biological control strategies, I aim to contribute meaningfully to both scientific knowledge and practical agricultural solutions. My academic journey has been recognized through several national-level fellowships and achievements: ICAR Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) Awardee for Ph.D.(2022–2025) All India Rank 16 – NTA ICAR Ph.D. Entrance Examination (2022) National Talent Scholarship (NTS) by ICAR during M.Sc.(2019–2021) Qualified ICAR-NET (2021) in Agricultural Entomology Shortlisted for Scientist-B (Pre-Cocoon) – Central Silk Board (2023)My long-term goal is to work at the intersection of entomological research, extension education and agri-policy to develop insect-based innovations that improve crop health and farmer livelihoods.
