ABOUT ANKE SCHWARZENBERGER
For 16 years I had been a successful scientist in the field of freshwater ecology with a focus on molecular adaptations of Daphnia in response to anthropogenic stressors (e.g. eutrophication and light pollution). I had also been working as science and lab manager, as well as gender consultant. Furthermore, I have always been interested in science communication. In line, I created a scientific movie series for the \'Bodenseenaturmuseum\'(the natural history museum of the Lake Constance area) in Konstanz, Germany. Since 2022, I am working at nova Institute, first as science communication manager and now as scientist and project manager for the Renewable Carbon Initiative.
