Founder and Executive Director of Young Lives India (YLI)- Research to Policy Centre in 2018, which specialises in research, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and evidence-based policy advocacy related to children, adolescents, and youth. YLI’s headquarter is located in New Delhi, India with a pan-India presence with on-going projects in various States and Union Territories including Telangana, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Assam, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Tripura and West Bengal.YLI works very closely with the Government of India (including Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women & Child Development, National and State Commissions for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and State Governments) as well as International organisations (including UNICEF Head Quarters, UNICEF India, ROSA, FCDO, FCDO South Asia Resaerch Hub, World Bank, Children Investment Fund Foundation amongst others). YLI is dedicated towards conducting high-quality independent evaluations and studies that not merely adds to research scholarship but aims to influence programmatic interventions and policy discourse. The YLI team works with policymakers to identify key areas wherein evidence and capacity building is required and jointly work towards bringing systemic reforms and changing lives of the most marginalised children, adolescents, and youth.
