Rajesh R Kumathekar is Resourceful, Senior Management Professional with extensive experience in providing strategic direction, executive leadership for New Product Development, Portfolio/Program / Project/Product Mgt, Technology mgt, Cost Engineering expertise in Automotive domain coupled with strong understanding of Market Dynamics. Rajesh is well conversant with international work culture by virtue of overseas exposure to Saudi Arabia, Dubai, South Africa, France, Canada, Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand for Market Research, Customer Clinic & Technology development studies. He had successfully completed deputation at Thailand office as Head of Product Planning & Project Management, drafted Product Strategy for Thailand Market for Tata Motor’s growth plan and long-term plan to establish in ASEAN Market. Rajesh has acquired the capabilities for developing product portfolio management for Small Commercial, Pickups, Light & Intermediate, Medium & Heavy commercial vehicles with well-defined Product portfolio with competitive strategies. He had distinction to lead Vehicle & Aggregates (Engine, Gear Box) development projects with Diesel / Petrol / CNG Fuels for various geographies across India, Thailand & International Markets. Rajesh is leading Advantek Fuel Systems as President Opeations. Led the Strategic Initiative of Cost Engineering focusing ILCV vehicles at TML, driving results through CFT to make ILCV Business as Most Profitable by achieving highest contributions levels of XX%. Rajesh had an honor to be Tata Motor’s one of first VAVE trainer, conducted 200+ Workshops, ideas across Commercial & Passenger vehicles to achieve cost saving of Rs 270 Cr through VAVE, Innovative solutions, Modularity, Design optimization, Value Laddering, strategic sourcing etc. methodologies. Drafted cost optimization plan for Tata Motor’s first Electric Truck. Rajesh demonstrated extra-ordinary skills by proposing Innovative solutions for CNG cars & trucks with Design Thinking & Modularity concepts and strategic directive of EMS commonality across TML product lines with proposal of annual projected saving of Rs 54 Cr. Rajesh believes continuous learning & improving the performance, recently studied 7 courses from USA & Europe Universities. He has graduated BE (Mech) from Walchand College of Engg, PGDOM- IGNOU, DBM - MIT, Pune. Winning attitude, Pro-active approach, structured efforts, fresh mind to explore innovative solutions.
