About Rajeev Ranjan
Science and Law Graduate from Delhi University, also an MBA with specialization in HR & Organization Behaviour from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University. Completed Doctorate in Management from AIMA (All India Management Association) in collaboration with AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) in 2014. 35+ years of extensive experience in human resources field working both in Corporate and NGO sectors. Started my career as a Management Trainee in Steel Authority of India Limited in 1986 and rose to the position of Deputy Chief Personnel Manager, where I had the opportunity of working for well established HR systems. Joined Rotary International, South Asia Office in November where I designed HR systems from scratch and was instrumental in redefining “Staff Policies & Procedures Manual” to suit international standards, contributed in streamlining the recruitment systems and also pioneered the development of Standard Operating Procedures in all HR & Administrative process. Also received extensive international exposure and carried out assignments in Philippines, Malaysia, Japan, USA, Australia and Bangla Desh. Held the position of Director (HR) in CARE-India for a short stint from September 07 to March 08, where I played a major role in the process of transition to a national entity and was instrumental in defining HR Policies for the new entity. Became Head-HR of India Operations of SOS Children\'s Villages of India, an International NGO based in Austria, where I brought in a complete cultural transformation including formulation and implementation of new PMS, Compensation Management, Discipline Management, Performance based increment policy, manpower rationalization etc. Worked at Reliance Foundation, Mumbai as Vice-President - HR for about an year.
